Secure loads

The loop on the RAM™ Tie Downs are made from a high-strength composite material and will secure items in and around your vehicle. When combined with the RAM™ Tough Track products they provide a neater, less obtrusive alternative to heavy-duty airline style cargo tracking/rail installations.

Slide and tighten

Slide the T-bolt base of the RAM™ Tie Down along the T-slot in the tracking and then simply tighten down the top in your preferred location. The rubber base of the tie down creates a firm grip on the track.

RAM Tough Tracks

The Vertical Tie Downs are compatible with both the top-loading RAM™ Tough-Track and end loading RAM™ Tough-Track products.

Frequently Asked Questions Part 1

Will the RAM™ 2-pack Vertical Tie Down work with the tracking in the back of my XYZ car or on my Roof Rail cross bars?

If the T-Bolt will slide into the channel in your product then the RAM™ Vertical Tie Down will work. Dimensions pictured here.

Frequently Asked Questions Part 2

Will the RAM™ 2-pack Vertical Tie Down work with airline/cargo track products?

The width of the channel section on aluminium airline tracking is wider than the T-Bolt base.  However if the T-Bolt is located in the correct place within the track, the foot of the T-Bolt will wedge in place across the width of the channel and allow the loop to tighten down securely onto the bolt. We only recommend using the Vertical Tie Down on flat top profile tracking – as pictured here.
