I stopped in at your shop today (Friday) on the way back to Scotland. I bought a set of seat rails and a few other bits. I would just like to tell you that I have fitted the seat rails tonight to my 110 and its like driving a Merc. (well maybe not quite a Merc...). The difference in leg room is terrific it does make for a hell of a more comfortable driving position. Thanks for your help and time today I will certainly be showing these rails off to some of the farmers I deal with through work.

Your instructions are indeed clear and concise. The rails themselves an
incredibly simple but well planned concept, and therefore brilliant. The
legroom is fantastic as we are all 6 ft or over. One can see over the steering wheel even better and has therefore an increased forward vision. There is now more space UNDER the seat and it has left valuable space for my large map and rags storage---GREAT bonus!!
My son and husband are VERY grateful that they can finally stretch out.

Just a quick note to say thanks. I ordered a ‘Tunnel Tray’ from you at about quarter past 3 in the afternoon. Well it arrived the very next day, very well packaged and a great bit of kit to boot. Fitting is simplicity itself and takes mere seconds. It looks OEM, and creates loads of extra storage space for ‘stuff’, in a word brilliant.
Just thought I’d say thanks as it’s rare (unfortunately) to get service like this these days. We’re always quick to criticise bad service but rarely give praise where it’s deserved. I’ll be ordering a few more bits from you over the next few months, so I look forward to dealing with you again.

I collected my parcel of goodies from the PO yesterday, Wednesday local time, and installed the driver's side rails ASAP. No problems with the installation. The first thing that I noticed was how much easier it was to get and out of the 110! I'm a trim, no beer gut, but hefty 13 stone 6-footer so the seat was right back on maximum. Today I did a 100 mile round trip and I'm truly delighted with the new, much more natural, seating position. No longer are my arms cramped around a steering wheel and somehow that extra bit of height seems to give me more shoulder room. The truck is much, much easier and relaxing to drive. Thank you! I'll not install the passenger side rails until I've hawked your mod around a few more 110 owners including my servicing guy - a 110 specialist - so with a bit of luck we may be able to drum up some business for you.

My 110 is fairly highly modified for work in the Victorian alpine district, but if I were ever called upon to decide which was the ONE mod that I couldn't do without; it would have to be these seat rails - they've transformed my vehicle.

“Those seat rails are the "shizzle!" At 6'5' I know you were miserable. Funny about the Tdi's...And it may have just been me, but the leg room seemed to differ from one D to the next. It seemed worse in the 97s too. Dude, they ought to make a bust of you and put you in the Rover hall of fame. Maybe just a casting of one leg and your ass in a rover seat with a seat rail. “Thanks so much for all the effort. Package arrived 1300 your time this afternoon. First rate. Plan is to modify the end profile of the mud pod so it sits square on the centre dash of my Disco3. The finish is very close to the black leather finish on the original dash so fits in well.

Just had to drop you a quick line to say a big thank you for the fantastic improvement that fitting a pair of your MUD rails has made to my 2007 Defender 110 XS. Having driven Land Rovers since 1968 (when I started work at Solihull) and having just finished a 40 year career with the same company I swapped my Discovery 3 for a brand new Defender last year. It really took me back to my roots. This was REAL 4x4 driving again - but there were still the same old limitations for a +6 footer. No legroom, too close to the steering wheel and the handbrake lever constantly resting against your left leg on a journey.

NOT ANY MORE!

The increase in seat height from the MUD rails has transformed the forward visibility (I can see both corners at the front now), rearward visibility has also improved as I can see more over the top of the rear door-mounted spare - but the biggest benefit is that I've lost the damned handbrake rubbing against my leg and my knee is no longer in permanent contact with the dash.

Even though 60 years of LR development has not cured all the problems inherent in a Defender, 10 minutes to fit a set of MUD rails has changed the driving experience of mine for ever.
