We first came across SilBlade® Silicone Wiper Blades on a trip to the US several years ago where we noticed almost every Defender D90 we saw had a pair fitted. Encouraged by rave reviews from SilBlade® users we decided to see for ourselves just how good they were. We brought a set back home with us in our luggage and four years later that original set of SilBlades® Silicone Wiper Blades are still as effective as the day they were fitted to our Defender. This new product was one that was literally starring us in the face! Passengers would ride in our Defender and say 'you should sell those'. So we did.

SilBlade® Silicone Wiper Blades are formulated with a premium silicone rubber with graphite and PTFE (form of Teflon®). This unique and patented formula is what sets the SilBlade® Silicone Wiper Blade apart from the rest.

After 90-days, the Silblade® Silicone Wiper Blades will leave an invisible water repellent coating on your windscreen which helps water bead up making it easier to see out your windscreen. This permanent coating causes water droplets to bead up the moment they hit the screen without the need for treatments out of a bottle.

The graphite and PTFE non-stick coating in the formulation gives SilBlade® Silicone Wiper Blades their ability to effortlessly glide smoothly across your windscreen without smearing, squeaking or dragging.

Silicone rubber is unaffected by the elements that break down conventional wiper blades (UV/sunlight), ozone, oil and grime from road spray and extreme temperatures. Silicone is unaffected by these and will remain flexible from minus 80C to 400F. The SilBlade Silicone Wiper Blade will therefore easily outperform any traditional wiper blade replacement even in the harshest climate or environment.

SilBlade® Silicone Wiper Blades comes with a heavy duty metallic gloss black frame fitted with a black silicone rubber blade. SilBlade® Silicone Wiper Blades are supplied with an adapter kit and will replace your Defenders original wiper blades in seconds. The 13in SilBlade® will replace the front and rear wipers on all models and years of Land Rover Defender.
