Our Defender Rear Speaker Panels are the Land Rover Genuine Parts used in the latest PUMA 2.4 Tdci Defender Station Wagon. Although you'll notice the shape of the Panels are designed to fit the profile of the latest PUMA Station Wagon bodytub, we discovered they can modified to fit earlier model Defenders very easily. Why modify? Because a anomaly in Land Rover pricing means the station- wagon version of the speaker panels is a lot cheaper than the regular 'van" version!

The speaker panels are sold as a pair -  Left-hand & Right-hand panels

The Genuine Parts Speaker panels offer an OE factory appearance and offer a quick and easy method of mounting speakers in the rear of any Defender.
To modify the Defender Rear Speaker Panels to fit earlier model Defenders all you have to do is remove the area of plastic from the speaker trim as illustrated below.

Using the Defender Rear Speaker Panels speeds up any rear speaker installation since it means you avoid the time consuming task of creating your own panels from MDF.  The end-result offers a truly professional factory appearance.

The recess within the speaker panels will accept a standard 4in/100mm speaker. The 4in/100mm size of speaker is the same size speaker Land Rover uses in the Defender models for both front and rear speakers.
Please note. Speaker Panels are not supplied with speakers, nor do we supply speakers.

You will need to remove the metal trim panels covering the the taillights in order to fit the Defender Rear Speaker Panels. The panels are secured using plastic trim fixings supplied and attach to the body capping with pre-installed self adhesive tape.
