The latest addition to the MUD-UK range of Defender interior enhancements are our Defender 90 Interior Side Panel Trim kits. Designed to offer a smart factory appearance to the interior of any hardtop 90 Defender, the panels are available with a choice of optional extras to utilise what has traditionally been a wasted area of space in the interior of any Land Rover Defender hardtop (van) model.
The rigid plastic trim offers added protection from accidental damage to your hardtop side panels, whist the easy to clean surface means the rear loadspace remains dog-proof!

The basic MUD Defender 90 Interior Side Panel Trim kit comes as a pair of moulded trim panels. The panels are a one piece moulding from ABS plastic. Each kit comes supplied with four self-adhesive foam backing pads and all the necessary fasteners and instructions. We offer a range of accessories, including, storage nets, LED lighting and Speaker Spacer Rings  with which to customise your 90 Interior Side Trim Panels. See below.

The MUD Defender 90 Interior Side Panel Trim kit is an easy DIY fit and can be installed with the minimum of tools in approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the customer specification.

The MUD Defender 90 Interior Side Panels are available in black, dark grey.

The MUD Defender 90 Interior Side Panel Trim will all Defender 90 hardtops fitted with side panels that have the vertical strengthening rib fitted as pictured below.

NOTE: Early 90 models have a strengthening rib that runs horizontally across the side panel. Unfortunately the MUD Defender 90 Interior Side Panel Trim will not fit this variant.

The MUD Defender 90 Interior Side Panel Trim has been designed to be compatible with our popular Bulkhead Removal Bar as well as the standard full height bulkhead.

Features

Each MUD Defender 90 Interior Side Panel Trim is supplied with four closed cell foam pads to offer additional insulation and sound deadening to the interior of your Land Rover. The foam pads are supplied pre-cut and come fitted with self-adhesive backing for quick and easy installation.

Storage Nets

The recessed area within the MUD Defender 90 Interior Side Panel Trim has been designed to accept our Large 500mm x 300mm wire frame storage nets. MUD storage nets are manufactured in Germany by the same company who supplies many of the worlds car manufacturers including BMW, Porsche and Audi. Each net features elasticised netting and is supplied with black headed flush fit fasteners for a professional appearance.

LED Lighting

Low profile surface mount LED featuring 12 or 3 LED's. Lamps are supplied with illuminated switch and wiring terminals. Wire is not included. Requires additional fixing holes drilling into the trim panel.

Speaker Spacer Rings

The moulding of the MUD Defender 90 Interior Side Panel Trim has been designed to accommodate a 100mm/4in speaker. To create extra depth for the speaker we recommend using our low -profile speaker spacer rings.  The 100mm/4in diameter speaker is a common compact speaker size and the same size as that found in the factory stereo set-up in a Land Rover Defender. Supplied with fixings. Trim Panel will need cutting to fit speakers.
Please note. Speaker spacers are not supplied with speakers or speaker grilles.
