Carling Technologies Switches are a popular range of durable and reliable switch body as used as OE equipment throughout the world by vehicle manufacturers such as Volvo, DAF, Renault, JCB and Massey Ferguson . MUD offers the Carling Contura II switches together with a range of dedicated Carling switch mounts and accessories.

Carling Contura II switches are the exact same type of switch as that used by ARB within its air-locker kits.
Square window illuminates green with sidelights matching the standard Land Rover dashboard illumination.  Switch activation is indicated by orange LED bar. Wired with standard 6.3mm male spade terminals on rear of switches. Switches are supplied with wiring diagrams.
All Contura II switches are rated at 20amps

On-On-Off
Three position switch allowing you to wire two auxiliary circuits through one switch. Typical application would be for controlling two pairs of spotlamps or two electric fans via the one switch. Click switch once to activate one circuit; click again to activate circuits one and two.

This alternative three position switch allows you to wire two auxiliary circuits through the one switch.
This switch differs from that above in that circuits one OR two are activated completely independently of one another.

Off-Mom
Momentary spring loaded 1-way rocker switch.
Typical application would be a horn, screen wash control or as a one-way internal winch control. Use two switches to control in & out functions.

Mom-Off-Mom SP (Single Pole)
Momentary spring loaded 2-way rocker switch.
Use the single pole switch when using the momentary switch as an internal hardwired electric winch control.

Carling Switch Mounts and Accessories.
Our range of genuine Carling Switch accessories provide a professional looking finish to any switch installation.
Use the gang mounts to install multiple switches within a single mounting frame. Switches simply snap into place within the gang mount. Single mounts provide a matching 'framed' finish to individual switch installations.
The main advantage of using gang mounts is that you only have to cut one hole in a panel rather than try horizontally align several individual holes when installing a row of multiple switches.
Use the interlocking mounts to create multiple switch mounts to suit your own requirements. Both the MUD Console and MudPod have designed to accept the Carling switch mounts.

Interlocking Mounts  
These individual interlocking switch frames allow you to create your own multiple gang mounts.
When ordering, use two frame ends for all installations. e.g. To install five switches, order 3 x centres and 2 x ends. For two switches side-by-side, use two interlocking ends.

Switch Blanks
A neat and tidy way to fill unused holes in all switch mounts.
If you think you may be adding more switches to your vehicle at a later date, 'future proof' your installation by ordering a switch mount with more openings than you need and just fill in the holes with blanks until you're ready to fill the hole with a switch.

Multi-Plug Connectors
Tidy up a multiple switch installation with these dedicated Carling multi-plug connector blocks. Connector plugs into back of Carling switch body. Locking tab offers a secure connection. Requires 6.3mm female latching spade terminals. (Not included. See Below)
Note that the total depth required for a switch and connector is 50mm. Check available clearance.

Carling Switch Tool
Dedicated Carling switch tool for easy removal of switches from gang mounts and/or removing switch fronts. Forked end removes rockers. Flat end removes switches from gang mounts.
