MUD Cargo Tracking

Cargo Tracking sometimes referred to as loadbed tracking or aircraft tracking is commonly used in 4x4s, particularly expedition vehicles where it is extremely effective as a flexible load containment system. The aluminium Cargo Tracking can also be used to good effect on roof-racks, within the loadbed of pick-up trucks, in vans, trailer beds or simply anywhere you need your cargo to stay secure.

The flexibility of the Cargo Tracking system allows to you slide your tie downs along the length of the Cargo Tracking thereby ensuring any lashing points are always right where you need them. The Tie Downs can be relocated anywhere along the length of the Cargo Track in seconds and be removed completely when not in use.

We offer the tracking in two different styles - Surface Mount and Recessed Mounting.
Surface mount offers the quickest and simplest track installation.
Recessed mounting is designed to be sunk into flooring/trailer decking.

Cargo Tracking can be mounted to any flat surface. When used in a vertical plane it can be used as an effective storage method for securing cargo including sand ladders, jerry can holders or waffle boards with our quick-release fasteners.

Cargo Tracking End Caps Plastic end caps add a neat finishing touch to any Cargo Tracking installation. Secured with a single screw. Fixings are not supplied. Please state Surface Mount or Recessed Mount. Price: £1.40 each inc VAT

Cargo Tracking Infill Strip The plastic infill strip prevents a build up off dirt and debris in the Cargo Tracking. The Infill strip is useful when the Cargo Tracking is fitted to the loadbed of a working pick-up truck. The Infill Strip also provide a neat appearance when your Cargo Tracking is not in use. Supplied in grey only. Priced per metre & cut to length. Price: £2.55 inc VAT per metre.

Cargo Tracking Fixings Countersunk socket headed M8 fastener for securing Cargo Tracking to any flat surface. When fitted the fastener head maintains a flush surface within the Cargo Tracking. Supplied with washer and nyloc nut. Bolt length 30mm. Steel construction. Price: £0.25 pence each inc VAT


Single Stud Ring The Single Stud ring is designed for lighter loads. The Single Stud Ring can be attached to the cargo tracking with one hand. The Single Stud Ring drops into the Cargo Tracking and can be positioned at any point along the length of the tracking. The lashing ring rotates through a full 360 degrees. The Single Stud Ring is of an aluminium construction with a stainless steel ring. 1,800kg rating. Price: £3.60 inc VAT

Double Stud Ring The Double Stud ring is of a cast steel construction making it suitable for heavier loads including vehicle tie-down applications when the Cargo Tracking is fitted to a trailer. The Double Stud Ring drops into the Cargo Tracking and can be positioned at any point along the length of the tracking. 2,250kg rating Price: £8.20 inc VAT

Single Stud T-Bolt fixing The T-Bolt fixing slides within the Cargo Tracking. The T-Bolt fastener is a useful device when creating custom mounting frames to use in conjunction with the Cargo Tracking. Quick Release Fastener The Quick-Release fastener is the ideal solution when creating custom mountings that utilise the cargo-tracking system. Stud section slides into the tracking and the plastic screw knob tightens down onto the track by hand. Quick-Release Fastener: £7.00

Useful information when selecting your MUD Cargo Tracking

Here you can see the difference is size between the Single Stud Ring and the Heavier Duty Double Stud Ring tie downs fixings. We recommend the Single Stud Ring fixing for securing storage boxes internally in a vehicle. The Double Stud Ring offers a heavier duty tie-down more commonly used for securing vehicles to car transporter decks or aircraft holds.

Our Cargo Tracking is manufactured in the UK. Cargo Tracking is made from aluminium. A 1m length of Cargo tracking weighs just 800 grams. Our tracking is fully tested and certified for mounting seating fixtures. Certification can be supplied upon request.

End caps will finish off a Cargo Tracking installation with a smart professional appearance. Plastic end caps conceal any hard and sharp cut edges and help protect occupants from injury and prevent damage to cargo.
We supply end-caps to suit both the Surface Rail tracking and Recessed Tracking. End caps are secured with a screw fixing - not supplied.

The countersunk fasteners provide a flush fit within the track to ensure any tie downs can move freely along the length of the Cargo Tracking. Fixing holes are spaced at 100mm centres. One metre of cargo tracking has 11 fixing points. For regular use we recommend using fixings at alternate fixing points, i.e. 6 fixings per metre.

The Tie Down rings can be placed at any point along the length of the tracking. Both the Single Stud and Double Stud Tie Down Rings can be repositioned in seconds with their spring release fasteners. A Certificate of Conformity can be supplied upon request

The T-Bolt fixings allow you to create a fixed mounting at any point on the tracking. The T-Bolts are useful for the DIY builder looking to utilise the cargo tracking as a mounting platform. The T-Bolt fixings are approved for seat fixings.

To install or remove a T-Bolt it has to slide along the full length of the track. T Bolt stud length is 20mm. T-Bolt stud Diameter is M8. All T-Bolt fixings are supplied with washers, nuts and nut caps

The Double Stud T-Bolt allows you to create a two-bolt fixing/mounting point. Stud length is 20mm. Distance between the stud centres is 72mm.
The Quick Release fastener allows you to create a easily removable mounting on the tracking system making it ideal for a variety of uses
The Quick Release handle is designed to be tightened by hand onto the stud that fits into the track
