Defender Bulkhead Removal Bar

This popular kit removes the upper portion of the loadspace-dividing bulkhead, allowing you to fully realise the front seats reclining facility. Installing a Bulkhead Removal Bar offers driver and passenger extra comfort on longer journeys at the same time providing easier access to items in the rear of the vehicle.

The replacement U-shaped Bulkhead Removal Bar is manufactured in box-section steel to ensure the bodywork's structural strength is retained. A finishing strip conceals the cut edge while adding additional rigidity. Finished in satin black powder coat, the end result is one that could well be mistaken for a factory fitment.

The Bulkhead Removal Bar will fit all ages of 90, 110 & Defender including the latest TDci model Defender. We regularly supply the Bulkhead Removal Bar to Land Rover main dealers for fitting into new Defenders.

Fitting a Bulkhead Removal Bar is a task suitable for any competent DIY'er. Each kit comes with full fitting instructions and everything needed to carry out a home installation.

Please note that although the extra range of movement on the seat backrest will make a significant difference to front seat comfort, the installation of a Bulkhead Removal Bar alone will not significantly increase the amount of legroom. If you're looking for extra legroom behind the wheel, then we would always recommend complimenting the Bulkhead Removal Bar with a set of MUD Rails to truly transform your Defenders driving position.

Due to the differences in bulkhead profiles, the Bulkhead Removal Bar will not fit Series Land Rovers.
